Doh!

The counties where motorists spend the highest percentage of their income on gasoline tend to be in poor, rural areas.

But that would mean that poor people have less discretionary income than rich people! Who knew?

    Discretionary income aside, aren’t RURAL areas more “farther away” from places that have public transportaion like buses and trains (and even neighbors and friends with transportation)?

    Isn’t THAT why it’s NOT known as URBAN, but rather RURAL in the first place?

    I think FARK “farked up” on this one a tad.
