Criminal geniuses of the week:

Vincennes – Early this morning at approximately 2:00 a.m., Vincennes University Police and Indiana State Police responded to a loud noise complaint at 1321 North 3rd Street. When officers arrived they heard loud music coming from the residence and observed several people outside.

[. . .]

When officers entered the residence they discovered approximately 12 ounces of marijuana and nearly 8 ounces of cocaine on a rear bedroom floor. The owner of the residence, Martz Smith, 19, and Adrienne Wilson, 21, of Vincennes, were arrested and taken to the Knox County Jail.

Leo’s tip for those seeking the romantic life of crime: If you’re gonna have illegal drugs, keep the noise down.

One Response to “Ssshhhh!”

  1. Bob G. Says:

Betcha the State Court of Appeals will want to know if the officers asked “consitutionally-correct” questions BEFORE they entered, so as not to infringe on the students’ rights to “be left alone”…!
After all, we sure don’t want another situation of “improper” search and seizure now…do we?
