Now, honestly

September 8, 2008

When one of the two people who introduced the measure is with Allen County Right to Life, how can this be said with a straight face?

Authors of a bill now before the Allen County Commissioners say its purpose is not to just limit abortions . . .

We can debate whether it is right to make abortions tougher to get, but let’s start with a little honesty.

  1. Doug Says:

The majority of Americans honestly don’t want Roe v. Wade overturned.

That is why this is so troubling to me. This is NOT about overturning Roe V. Wade. It is about going around it.

I love this line from the article:

“Howard said he was acting as an attorney, not in his role with Right to Life.”

But he is NOT an attorney in his day job (although he is an attorney). He runs the city’s purchasing department. So his connection to this issue, other than Right to Life is???
