Rolling Barack expectations

We can only hope

Barack Obama’s senior advisers have drawn up plans to lower expectations for his presidency if he wins next week’s election, amid concerns that many of his euphoric supporters are harbouring unrealistic hopes of what he can achieve.

Oh, and, hey, kids — those of you drawn into this election as first-time voters with enthusiasm and hope: Now you get to experience what the rest of us have had to learn to live with — what the guy you voted for actually does after he takes office. Can you say “bitterly clinging to guns and religion”?
